Groningen T2 - English Up-Intermed. (B2)

Course Description

B2 – This course is for students who have already achieved a B1 level in English and wish to increase their level to B2. We will work towards IELTS covering reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills. As with the B1 plus level, teachers will help students understand all aspects of the IELTS exam and learn some exam tips & tricks. Students who complete this level successfully may feel ready to sit their IELTS exam. If they need extra tuition, they can attend the IELTS Lab level. We aim to prepare newcomers to The Netherlands to excel at the internationally recognized English language proficiency exam IELTS. The program is designed for motivated students with a refugee background who are planning to pursue studies in the Dutch higher education system or take the next step in their career development. The program prepares students to take the IELTS exam for university entry or for work requirements. We offer different levels taught in 12-week modules. By the end of each level, the learners will have completed 48 hours of face-to-face classes and 90 hours of self-study, including the weekly assignments.
